Our Beliefs

Rooted in Scripture. Centered on Christ. Guided by Truth.

Rooted in the Word of God

As Seventh-day Adventist Christians, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the trustworthy foundation for faith and practice.

Our beliefs point to Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and the hope of His soon return.

God’s Character & Love

God’s greatest desire is for you to see a clear picture of His character. When you understand who He is, you begin to experience His love in a powerful and personal way.

God reveals His character through three defining events:

  • Creation — giving humanity freedom to choose
  • The Cross — Jesus paying the penalty for our sins
  • The Resurrection — victory over death and the promise of eternal life

As we grow in understanding Him, our lives begin to make more sense, and we are drawn into a lifelong journey of growth, purpose, and service.

The Bible — God’s Voice

The Bible is God’s voice speaking His love personally to us today. It serves as both a roadmap and a guide for living a meaningful and purposeful life.

Through Scripture, God communicates in many ways:

  • Stories that teach and inspire (David, Ruth, Peter, and others)
  • Laws and commandments that reveal His will
  • Parables, promises, and encouragement for daily life

Despite being written across thousands of years, the Bible consistently reveals the same loving God and remains relevant for our lives today.

Jesus Christ — Savior

Jesus is the center of our faith. He is:

  • Creator
  • Sustainer
  • Savior
  • Friend
  • The Son of God

He lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and now intercedes for us in heaven.

In a constantly changing world, Jesus remains the same. His promises are trustworthy, and through Him, “all things hold together.”

When life feels uncertain, He offers peace, hope, and transformation.

The Trinity

We believe in one God expressed in three persons:

  • God the Father
  • God the Son (Jesus Christ)
  • God the Holy Spirit

Each plays a vital role in our salvation and spiritual growth. Together, they reveal God’s love and work to restore us into His likeness.

Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, made possible through Jesus Christ.

  • We are not saved by our own goodness
  • We are saved by accepting His love and forgiveness
  • God replaces our sin with His righteousness

When we accept Him, transformation begins. God starts reshaping our lives, giving us purpose, peace, and direction.

Christian Living

God desires for us to experience the highest quality of life—both now and for eternity.

He provides:

  • A church family where we belong
  • Unique gifts and talents for each person
  • Guidance to help us live meaningful lives

Our relationship with God is personal. Like a close friendship, it grows through daily connection, trust, and communication.

The Sabbath (Saturday)

The Sabbath is a special gift from God—a day set apart for rest, worship, and fellowship.

  • Observed on the seventh day (Saturday)
  • A time to deepen our relationship with God
  • A reminder of creation and His love

It is a sacred opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with Him.

Death & Resurrection

For believers, death is not the end—it is a temporary rest.

  • Jesus has defeated death
  • Those who have died are awaiting resurrection
  • Christ will return to bring His people home

This promise fills our lives with hope and assurance for the future.

Relationship with God

God invites each of us into a close, personal relationship.

Like a friendship, this relationship includes:

  • Daily prayer and conversation
  • Trust and dependence on Him
  • Joy, peace, and comfort in His presence

God loves you personally and desires to walk with you every day.

God’s Plan for Your Life

God created you with purpose and intention.

  • You are part of His “family”
  • You are deeply loved and valued
  • He has a plan filled with hope, peace, and meaning

Every person—regardless of background—is equally loved in God’s eyes.

Communion

We celebrate Christ’s victory through communion, which includes:

  • Foot washing — symbolizing humility and love
  • Bread — representing Christ’s body
  • Grape juice — representing His sacrifice

This service reminds us of His love and our commitment to follow Him.

Baptism

Baptism is a powerful symbol of transformation.

  • Represents dying to the old life
  • Rising into a new life in Christ
  • Practiced through full immersion

It marks the beginning of a new journey with Jesus.
